What is Pathology?
Pathology is a branch of medicine that is involved in treating the essential cause of disease. This diagnosis of the disease is done by examining organs, tissues and bodily fluids.
General pathology is a term used to describe the practice of anatomic and clinical pathology.
- Anatomic Pathology deals with the diagnosis of disease by examining the microscopic, chemical, molecular, the immunologic examination of organs, tissues and also in the autopsy.
- Clinical pathology is also called as laboratory medicine in which the diagnosis of the disease is done by examining urine and blood.
