About Services Hospital
Services Hospital is a teaching hospital in Lahore, associated with Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS). In 1958, it was a separate outdoor small hospital for government employees being used as a satellite clinic for Mayo Hospital. In 1960 the clinic had been named Services Hospital, in 1977 it becomes a teaching hospital for the new Allama Iqbal Medical College (AIMC), in 1995 it turns into a teaching hospital for Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI), and in 2002 it became a teaching hospital for SIMS which it currently still is. Requirements of the Dental Medical Council of Pakistan were met which meant the board of directors of SIMS/Services Hospital were able to establish an office of department of education and related employees which is controlled by the Ministry of Finance. Services Hospital is in Lahore. The address is at Ghaus-Ul-Azam, Jail Road.

- In the present day, Services now has 1196 beds spread across 31 departments.
- In 2002, an emergency and trauma centre was set up and is now being upgraded, becoming modernized because of the chief minister’s initiative of ‘Strengthening of Emergency Medical Services’.
- They have both inpatient and outpatient facilities offering surgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, eye, ICU, and emergency services with more than 100 qualified consultants with all types of specialists and subspecialists.
